Artist Statement

At times, we rush through life without experiencing what is right next to us. I admit, at times, I have been caught up in the rush of life, missing many moments. Life takes strength and courage; it also takes failures and forgiveness. We grow with each moment we experience. During my travels, I do my best to soak in the moments around me, finding treasures in all forms. While you will most likely find me gazing along a coastline as the sun shines her light on a new day, some of my travels push me outside of my comfort zone, which may be the best travel needed to enhance or change my perspective.

A creature in motion may leave a feather lying on the sand. With the right eye and light, that same feather might be a wisp of air to change your mindset. A sponge washed ashore may be the sea's way of filtering its bed. Taking a moment to look through the pores of a sponge may give someone a new vantage point for an obstacle they may be facing.

I capture moments in time through my photography, focusing on landscape, nature, cityscapes, and small towns far and wide with different perspectives. Mother Nature is unique and alluring in every aspect she presents; the way we perceive her beauty is our perspective.
